Congratulations! We have made it by His grace to another year. I bless the LORD for His mercies towards us as individuals and as a church. He has never abandoned us; He has continually multiplied His grace upon us.
When we look back over the years, it is more than obvious that the LORD has done us well. We thank God for His faithfulness which we have been experiencing on a daily basis. This year alone we have celebrated so many births of healthy babies. We can not thank Him enough.
I thank all ministers, workers and members; may the LORD continually uphold you. As many of you that have upheld this ministry in diverse ways may the LORD reward you openly.
Our anniversary theme is “THE MIGHTY GOD OF MIRACLES”. When I received this theme I pondered upon it. Why the MIGHTY GOD OF MIRACLES? Because that is who He is.
(1.) His miracles are unquestionable. There is no need to doubt the awesome power behind the miracles. In John chapter 9 the Jews questioned the blind man who received his sight. His answer to them in verse 25 states “whether he be a sinner or no, I know not; one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see”. This man was born blind; his parents confirmed that he was born blind. You see, when Jesus comes on the scene all former negative statuses concerning you are annulled. A miracle is coming to you that cannot be questioned in Jesus name.
(2.) His miracles are limitless, miracles of gods are limited. In Exodus 7 v 9 – 12 says “When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, shew a miracle for you; then thou shalt say unto Aaron, take thy rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said”. Elevation is coming to you in Jesus name – your enemies that desired to hold you captive will discover that their power is limited.
(3.) His miracles are shows of power and victory. The LORD is known as Jehovah Saboath. He is the LORD of Hosts. He is mighty in battle. In 1 Kings 18 v 24 Elijah challenged the prophet of Baal and said “And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD; and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, it is well spoken.” In verses 38 & 39 it states “Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces, and they said. The LORD he is the God the LORD, he is the God”. The LORD will prove His power through you in Jesus name.
(4.) His Miracles are unheard of. The parting of a sea was never heard of before the Red Sea was parted in Exodus 14 v21 which says “And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided”.
An escape route is yours. The LORD is able to make a way for you where there appears to be no way. A way that is beyond human comprehension will be made available to you in Jesus name. The LORD shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace (Exodus 14 v 14).
Once again congratulations. As from this anniversary you will enjoy what they call “testimonies unheard of”. May the LORD who is known as The Almighty continually uplift you. It is well with you and it is well with RCCG Jesus Capital as a Parish and as an Area.
God bless you.
